Are you passionate about skincare and providing exceptional customer service? Do you have a background in the beauty or skin industry? We’re looking for friendly, approachable, and calm individuals to join our team at Yarra Trail Medical as a Skin Check Patient Experience Specialist.

About Us:

We are a new, premium medical clinic in Briar Hill, Melbourne, with a focus on quality care and patient satisfaction. As part of our services, we offer state-of-the-art skin cancer screening. Our goal is to provide a seamless and positive experience for our patients, and we need YOU to help make that happen!

Your Role:

You’ll be at the heart of our patient experience, ensuring every client feels welcome, informed, and cared for. Your role will primarily involve guiding patients through their skin checks, managing appointments, and assisting with the Skin Cancer Photography machine. No need for technical qualifications – just your warm personality, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail!

We Will Provide Training:

To help you succeed in your role, we will provide full training to become a Melanographer, so you can grow your career, confidently operate our Skin Cancer Photography machine and deliver the best possible care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and guide patients through the Skin Check experience
• Follow a straightforward, friendly script to ensure a seamless and positive experience
• Operate the Skin Cancer Photography machine, assisting patients as needed
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional environment
• Ensure smooth transitions for patients, keeping the schedule running efficiently.
• Escort patients to doctor follow up appointments after skin imaging
• Focus on providing excellent customer service and making every patient feel valued.
• Create and send reports to patients and referring doctors

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, warm, and approachable with a positive attitude.
• Professional in appearance and demeanor.
• Experienced in the beauty, skin, medical or related industry (although qualifications are not essential).
• Detail oriented with a focus on patient care and experience.
• Comfortable with technology and following a set process.
• Flexible and reliable, with a passion for delivering top-tier service.
  

Hours:

We’re hiring for two roles:

1. Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
2. Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Ideally, we are hoping that one of these roles could also cover Saturday shifts from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
