About the role

Northcote Osteopathic Clinic is seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our dynamic allied health clinic in Northcote, VIC. This is a casual role, working longer days on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays offering some flexibility in hours and the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment. Salary is based upon the Health Professional and Support Staff Award, Level 5 duties.

At Northcote Osteopathic Clinic (NOC), we pride ourselves on providing high quality care in a professional and welcoming environment. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Allied Health Receptionist to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for our clinic, ensuring a seamless experience for both patients and staff.

What you'll be doing

You will handle a variety of reception, administrative and support tasks including:

Reception and Customer service - Welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner, handling bookings, payments, accounts, general enquiries and maintaining patient records

Administration - Staff rostering, managing office staff including training, develop and implement office procedures and policies, stock management, website/social media updates and liaising with service providers.

Accounts - Using MYOB or Xero, processing wages, reconciling accounts and preparing for BAS and tax reporting.

Clinic Maintenance -Maintaining the clinic's professional and organised appearance, managing cleaning, laundry, clinic supplies and minor maintenance tasks.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or office management role, preferably in an allied health or medical setting
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and professional manner
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient in using computer software, including scheduling and patient management systems
  • A friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude
