Reception Officer
Allied Health and Ambulatory Care Department, Horsham
$29.57 to $32.69 per hour plus salary packaging
Maternity Leave backfill 32 hours per fortnight (June 2025-June 2026)
About the Role

Grampians Health Horsham is looking for an enthusiastic Reception Officer to support our Allied Health and Ambulatory Care departments. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our services across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reception & Clerical Support: Be the friendly face that welcomes and assists consumers, managing appointments, and waiting lists.
- Customer Service: Respond to inquiries with high-level interpersonal and communication skills.
- Office Management: Keep our office/clinic environments neat and organized, managing supplies and stock.
- Financial Tasks: Handle fee collection, banking, and financial reconciliations with precision.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate medical, administrative, and financial records, supporting data entry and reporting.
Skills & Experience:
- Customer Service-Oriented: Previous experience in customer service, ideally within a healthcare setting.
- Communicative: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proactive: A positive work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and general administration.
- Effective Communicator: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Desirable: Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in medical clinic administration is a plus.
