About us

The Parker Clinic is a multidisciplinary Health Clinic located in Essendon, Melbourne since 1999.
Services include Chiropractic, Podiatry & Myotherapy. Our reception team includes 6 members all working regular days/shifts as well as covering each other on holidays and personal leave. Our practice provides healthcare to the local community in a caring and informative environment by our close knit team of practitioners and support staff.

Qualifications & experience

• Experience in a Healthcare setting preferred but not essential.
• Experience with appointment and patient database/accounting software packages is preferred but not essential.
• Experience with HICAPS and EFTPOS use preferred but not essential.
• Experience in customer service settings is preferred but not essential.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Tasks include: scheduling patient appointments, treatment room setup, stock, supplies, & consumables management and reception room maintenance.
• Tasks include: telephone use, HICAPS/EFTPOS fee collection, use of patient management software, stock/product sales, stock/product ordering.
• Tasks include: working alongside health professionals and other receptionists in a team environment.
