Are you an experienced Practice Manager looking for a new opportunity? We are a well-established GP practice seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of our busy medical centre.

About the Role:

As our Practice Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the practice. You will be responsible for managing finance, HR, patient services, compliance with RACGP standards and Medicare requirements, and supporting our team of GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring a high standard of patient care and service delivery
• Manage practice finances, including budgeting, payroll, and Medicare billing compliance
• Ensure compliance with RACGP Standards, Medicare, and accreditation requirements
• Lead and support the administrative team, fostering a positive and efficient workplace
• Handle HR responsibilities, including recruitment, training, and performance management
• Develop and implement practice policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction
• Manage IT systems and ensure data security and My Health Record compliance
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including Primary Health Networks (PHNs), government agencies, and healthcare providers

About You:

We are looking for a highly organised, adaptable, and proactive individual with:
✅ Proven experience in practice management (preferably in an Australian GP or healthcare setting)
✅ Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgets, payroll, and Medicare billing
✅ Excellent leadership and team management skills
✅ Up-to-date knowledge of RACGP Standards, Medicare, and accreditation processes
✅ Experience handling HR, compliance, and operational matters
✅ Strong IT skills, including experience with medical software systems (e.g., Best Practice, MedicalDirector, PracSoft)
✅ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and patient-focused environment
✅ Fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese highly regarded to benefit our patients
