About the Role

This position reports jointly to the Atelier Director of Community and Global Brand Partnerships and the property Commercial Director. This position liaises and works collaboratively with the Brand Marketing and PR teams at Atelier Ace, working as an extension of the brand. This position is focused on multi-channel marketing initiatives, partnerships, programming and community engagement.

A successful Community & Marketing Manager is both guest and community focused, commercially minded, proactive and self-driven. They successfully operate with a high degree of autonomy, collaborate well, and have proven experience creating, launching and driving brand awareness initiatives to conversion. They are skilled at working both strategically (setting big picture goals, building relationships, using guest insights, data and market trends to present strong ideas for growth) and tactically (optimising campaigns, analysing traffic, producing events and problem solving).

About You

You are passionate about the Ace Hotel brand and deeply connected to Sydney’s local culture, from music and art to food, beverage, and current trends shaping the city.

You bring strong experience in social media management and content creation, including sharp copywriting skills. With excellent communication abilities, you thrive as a project manager and cross-functional collaborator, keeping teams motivated while juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.

Proactive and results-driven, you evaluate trade-offs, flag concerns, and ensure key objectives are met. Your ability to analyse both qualitative and quantitative insights helps optimise campaigns and partnerships for maximum impact.

Above all, you have strong commercial acumen, an eye for growth opportunities, and a drive to create meaningful connections between the brand and the community.
