Job Description: Retail Sales & Installation Consultant - Caravan Accessories
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Retail Sales & Installation Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting high-quality caravan accessories, provide expert advice, and prepare accurate quotes for installation services. Your goal is to deliver an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction with every interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Welcome customers to the store and provide knowledgeable advice on caravan accessories and off-grid solutions.
- Listen to customer needs and recommend suitable products and services to enhance their caravanning experience.
Sales & Quoting:
- Assist customers with product selection, ensuring they receive the best solution for their needs.
- Prepare detailed and accurate quotes for installation services, including clear breakdowns of costs.
- Follow up with customers on quotes, inquiries, and after-sales support.
Product Knowledge:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of caravan accessories, including 12V systems, solar setups, extension leads, and off-grid equipment.
- Stay informed about new products and industry trends to better assist customers.
Store Operations:
- Ensure products are displayed neatly and the store remains clean and organized.
- Assist in stock management, including receiving and restocking inventory.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the installation team to ensure smooth coordination of installation services.
- Communicate customer requirements clearly to ensure all installations meet expectations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the caravan, camping, or outdoor industry.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate quotes and explain them confidently to customers.
- Basic understanding of caravan systems, accessories, and installations (training can be provided).
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
