About the role
Bluey's Hunting & Fishing in Wodonga, VIC, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused part-time Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and maintaining the store's appearance.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships with customers
• Assisting customers with product selection and answering their questions about our products
• Maintaining the store's appearance and organisation, including restocking shelves, tidying displays, and keeping the sales floor clean and presentable
• Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Proactively identifying and communicating any stock issues or customer feedback to the store manager
• Supporting the overall operations of the store as needed
• Preparing online orders

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the sporting goods or outdoor industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised store environment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, as needed
• Knowledge in firearms, hunting & firearms license is essential
