About the role

Pizzateca Lupa, a brand new all day Roman Caffe located at the bustling South Melbourne Market, is seeking passionate and dedicated Front of House Supervisors, Waitstaff, Baristas and Bartenders to join our dynamic team. As a casual hospitality professional, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our vibrant establishment.

What you'll be doing

• Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all our guests
• Efficiently taking orders, serving food and beverages, and processing payments
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming front-of-house environment
• Assisting the management team with daily operations, including stock control and team coordination
• Staying up-to-date with our menu offerings, specials and promotions to provide customers with knowledgeable recommendations
• Adhering to all health, safety and licensing requirements
• Providing excellent customer service and problem-solving skills to address any customer queries or concerns

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar front-of-house or hospitality role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or café environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and work collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent customer service orientation and a genuine passion for providing memorable dining experiences
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Familiarity with operating point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
• An open and friendly demeanour, with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
