We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to grow our client base and expand our footprint within the hospitality and catering sectors. This role is perfect for someone with strong industry connections, sales expertise, and a passion for workforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in hospitality, accommodation, aged care, healthcare, venues, catering, and F&B sectors.
  • Develop tailored labour hire solutions to meet the staffing needs of clients.
  • Establish strong relationships with hotels, event venues, aged care facilities, hospitals, catering companies, and restaurants to drive business growth.
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of potential clients, ensuring consistent business development activity.

Account Management & Client Retention

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for workforce solutions.
  • Work closely with clients, HR teams, and operations managers to understand workforce demands and seasonal requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and strategic workforce planning to optimize staffing solutions.
  • Conduct regular client reviews and service evaluations to enhance customer satisfaction.

Sales Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute sales and business growth strategies to increase market share.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to promote labour hire services.
  • Collaborate with internal recruitment teams to ensure timely fulfilment of client staffing needs.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and client acquisition objectives.
  • Negotiate service agreements and pricing structures with clients.
  • Provide regular reports on business development performance, sales forecasts, and client engagement activities.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within labour hire, hospitality, catering, aged care, or workforce solutions industries.
  • Strong network and industry relationships within hotels, aged care, healthcare, catering, and F&B sectors.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence key decision-makers.
  • Ability to develop tailored staffing solutions that align with client needs.
  • Results-driven mindset with a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong market research and analytical skills to identify new business opportunities.
  • High level of self-motivation, resilience, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
