The Role
They are seeking a Training and Compliance Coordinator to join their Human Resources team. This role is crucial in ensuring that their workforce remains compliant with industry regulations and maintains up-to-date training records. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee training records, ensuring compliance with industry and legislative requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external training programs, including onboarding, refresher courses, and licence renewals.
  • Oversee compliance databases and contractor management systems to ensure smooth workforce onboarding and project compliance.
  • Identify training gaps and risks, working with managers to provide recommendations and facilitate necessary training.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external training providers while managing government training incentives and funding.
  • Generate and maintain reports on training completion rates, compliance status, and certification renewals to keep leadership informed.

About you
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

  • Ideally worked in a similar role previously with exposure to training and compliance management, prior experience working in the construction industry (not essential but desirable)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/compliance systems such as Lucidity, Hammertech, Onsite Track Easy, and RIW.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external providers.
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance requirements, safety standards, and legislative obligations.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a passion for maintaining high standards of compliance.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work onsite four days a week in Spotswood, in a collaborative team setting.
