The Company
Our client is at the cutting edge of technological innovation for its blue-chip client base, expanding its operations from Australia into APAC and the USA. As a Contract Project Finance Manager, you will be pivotal in optimizing invoicing, payroll, and order-to-cash systems to support the growth agenda. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and efficiency across all financial processes. Our client is looking for a three-month Contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoicing Systems: Analyse current invoicing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement advanced solutions to streamline and automate invoicing procedures. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all invoicing activities.
- Payroll Management: Evaluate existing payroll systems, recommend and execute enhancements to improve payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Collaborate with HR and IT teams to integrate payroll solutions with other business systems.
- Order-to-Cash Process: Oversee the order-to-cash lifecycle, from order management to cash collection. Implement best practices and technology-driven solutions to optimize order processing, invoice generation, and revenue recognition.
- Project Leadership: Lead finance projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to monitor financial performance, generate insights, and support decision-making. Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to track key metrics.
Technical Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in finance project management within the technology sector or similar.
- Strong understanding of invoicing, payroll, and order-to-cash processes.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as Zero, MYOB, or similar platforms.
- Advanced data analysis skills using tools like Excel
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines.
