CLIENT:

With over 30 years of experience and more than 2000 completed projects Australia-wide, our client focuses on high-quality commercial, insurance, health and aged care projects. Through continuous success and project wins, they are not looking to appoint another Project Coordinator to further strengthen the Melbourne team.

ROLE:

• Assist Project Managers and Site Supervisors in coordinating all building project requirements, including the scheduling of subcontractors
• Prepare scope of works and subcontractor packages, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness
• Develop and maintain procurement schedules to align with project timelines; prepare and issue purchase orders
• Manage and update the contractor database to support project operations

PERSON:

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar Projects Coordinator role within the building and construction industry
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards and ability to read plans
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as project management and scheduling software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, particularly while under pressure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent decision making ability
• Strong interpersonal, people management and relationship building skills
