With a strong focus on innovation and precision, this company is expanding its sales operations team to support its growing market presence. They are looking for a Senior Sales Operations Manager with expertise in enterprise sales processes, bid management, and export control compliance. Ideal candidates will have a background in electronics, hardware, or advanced manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize the quote-to-cash process, ensuring seamless sales operations.
  • Lead bid management and sales support, including preparing RFP/RFQ responses.
  • Ensure compliance with export control regulations, including managing application processes.
  • Validate purchase orders, issue sales orders, and manage bookings efficiently.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and logistics teams to align sales with inventory and lead times.
  • Maintain CRM (Salesforce) and ERP systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date sales data.
  • Provide sales forecasting, insights, and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Develop and enforce sales operations policies and best practices.
  • Support strategic go-to-market initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Desired Skills and Attributes

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in Sales Operations, preferably in electronics, hardware, or advanced manufacturing industries.
  • Expertise in Salesforce and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Experience working with defense or military contracts and knowledge of export control regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize sales processes and improve efficiency.
  • Proven ability to manage bid management, deal desk, and revenue tracking.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with sales, logistics, finance, and compliance teams.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities in a fast-paced, regulated industry.
