Position Overview
The ideal person will be responsible for overseeing general office admin. A significant part of the daily duties will include the complete order lifecycle, from initial processing, through to packing and delivery confirmation. This role is critical in maintaining smooth operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Book in shipments and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Pick and pack orders coordinate with courier services to ensure timely delivery of all orders
- Handle returns and coordinate appropriate follow-up actions
- Manage relationships with wholesalers, including processing credits, invoices, and claims
- Prepare and distribute monthly order summaries via WhatsApp to key stakeholders
- Complete and submit new line forms for key accounts (when required)
- Resolve delivery issues and maintain communication with customers regarding order status
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications
- Liaise with customers re debtors collections
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with business communication tools (WhatsApp, email, excel, xero, etc.)
- Experience with order management or inventory systems is advantageous
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
Desired Qualifications
- Excel and general computer user knowledge
- Experience working with general office admin and order processing
- Knowledge of logistics and courier services
