About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to support one of our clients in their construction office in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs on a 3-month contract. This role is designed to provide temporary coverage for employees on leave during this period. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office by handling administrative tasks and supporting the wider team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing general office administration, including answering phones, handling correspondence, and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems
Scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel logistics
Assisting with processing invoices, purchase orders, and financial documentation
Supporting the coordination and management of project-related documentation and records
Performing ad-hoc administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in office administration within the construction industry (required)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (advantage but not necessary)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
