About the Property:
This independent 130-room apartment, consisting of both long-term and short-stay serviced apartments, is strategically located in Melbourne’s CBD, catering to both corporate and leisure guests.

The role:
As Hotel Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience while optimising efficiency and profitability. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring expertise in apartment hotels, extended stays, and multi-functional property management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams (~30 staff)
• Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth interdepartmental coordination
• Handle building management duties for leased/owner-occupied apartments
• Develop and implement brand standards and SOPs to enhance operations
• Cost management: Identify and implement cost-saving strategies
• Support corporate sales and marketing efforts to attract long-term partnerships
• Negotiate with suppliers and oversee maintenance budgets

Candidate Profile

• Apartment hotel or extended-stay experience (mandatory)
• Strong background in housekeeping and maintenance operations
• Ability to handle challenging guest interactions and security concerns
• Leadership skills to manage, train, and empower a team
• Operational expertise across all hotel departments (beyond front office)
• Experience in corporate sales, budgeting, and cost efficiency strategies

Salary

• $100,000 per annum + superannuation
