About the Role
The Lecturer and Senior Lecturer (Teaching Specialist) will contribute to excellence in teaching and learning across the topics in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, specifically with a focus on the area of Digital Health. The roles will be responsible for making an independent contribution to teaching and the scholarship of teaching using innovations in practices and technologies to deliver excellence in teaching. The Senior Lecturer will also have a key leadership role in service to the College and/or University.

About You

To be successful in the role as either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in (Health Sciences) you will possess the following:

Lecturer Teaching Specialist (Academic)

  • Hold and maintain a current membership with a relevant professional association.
  • Evidence of excellence in teaching performance at a tertiary level in digital health.
  • Making an independent contribution to the development, delivery and evaluation of innovative teaching and learning strategies, including student assessment.
  • Evidence of reflective practice.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the nexus between teaching and learning, research, scholarship and practice.

The ideal candidate will have completed a PhD or EdD or equivalent qualification in a digital health related field.

Senior Lecturer Teaching Specialist (Academic)

  • Hold and maintain a current membership with a relevant professional association.
  • An understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice relevant to a health-related discipline.
  • Significant and sustained excellence in teaching performance at a tertiary level.
  • Significant and sustained development, delivery and evaluation of innovative teaching and learning strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to reflective improvement in teaching delivery.

The ideal candidate will have completed a PhD or EdD or equivalent qualification in a digital health related field.
