The Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Salesforce Platform lead to join a dynamic team focused on delivering top-tier customer experience solutions.

As a key member of the Customer Experience (CX) stream within the Business Applications team, the role primarily revolves around Salesforce but occasionally involves managing web development projects in collaboration with external support vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and industry best practices;
• Serve as the primary technical lead for Salesforce sprint work, offering expert guidance and resolving complex technical challenges;
• Collaborate closely with the Commercial team (Customer Experience, Sales, Pricing) to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver effective solutions;
• Participate in daily standups with internal stakeholders and the Salesforce team;
• Develop and deploy Salesforce solutions based on prioritised requirements;
• Provide direction and support to external development teams when necessary;
• Ensure projects adhere to timelines and maintain high-quality standards;
• Conduct regular code reviews and technical assessments to uphold best practices; and
• Stay current with Salesforce updates, new features, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Skills Required

To be successful you will possess the following skills, experience and attributes

• Demonstrate Communities Development – HTML5, LWC, CSS and web development skills;
• Demonstrate Salesforce Development, including APEX Controllers and Triggers, Batch processing, Integration, APIs, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce Pages, and Lightning Web Components; and
• A good knowledge of Salesforce Security & Best Practices.
• Ability to understand continuous deployment and basic DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket and documentation tools such as Confluence;
• Proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC);
• Knowledge of Aura Components;
• Proficiency in Apex programming; and
• Strong experience with CPQ, Sales & services.
