Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you’ll collaborate closely with a high-performing team of developers, technical directors, and project managers to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• End-to-End Architecture: Design scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions aligned with client goals and technical needs.
• Hands-On Problem Solving: Step in to resolve critical development issues and support engineering teams when needed.
• Technical Leadership: Define technical footprints, select appropriate tools/technologies, and guide teams to ensure architectural alignment and code quality.
• Governance & Standards: Enforce best practices, coding standards, non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, security), and manage architectural backlog.
• Client & Team Collaboration: Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, provide tech guidance, and collaborate with cross-functional/nearshore teams to drive delivery.
• Documentation & QA: Produce clear technical documentation and ensure solutions meet both functional and non-functional specifications.

Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in software development with at least 2 years in a tech lead or architect role; strong hands-on experience building and testing large-scale web applications.
• Proven skills in modern web technologies including React, Node.js, microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deep understanding of non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability), modern architecture patterns, and strong coding background.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions with strong communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
