JOB DESCRIPTION
The NSW Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales across NSW by promoting a range of Food & Feed Diagnostics products, increasing brand awareness, and offering education, technical information, and application support to customers. The primary goal is to grow sales, maintain strong relationships with existing customers, and develop new business opportunities to meet revenue targets. This role will collaborate closely with the Sales, Service, and Support teams to ensure exceptional customer service. The position is field-based, requiring significant travel within the territory, with occasional international travel.

KEY DUTIES

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Promote the product portfolio within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct customer, trend, and competitor mapping to develop and implement growth strategies.
  • Prepare monthly sales and forecast reports.
  • Participate in regular strategy meetings with senior management.
  • Manage opportunities using the company CRM platform.
  • Achieve KPIs and meet annual sales targets.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tertiary level education, such as B.Sc. or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a sales-related role within the food and feed industry or Biotech industry.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong customer focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of business acumen.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience using CRM platforms.
  • Previous experience within the biotech industry is preferred.
