We are now looking for an experienced full-time Production Coordinator with QA experiences in fashion design background to join our team.

Working with the Head of Production, your primary responsibility will be efficiently and effectively managing the whole production process from sample development to bulk production and delivery. Ideally you have had demonstrated experience in childrenswear. Although not essential, mandarin speaking skill is an advantage.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Manage the entire process and each critical stage from fabric development, tech pack submission, lab dip approvals, print approvals, fit samples, PP sample, supplier production, shipping sample to quality control and delivery according to the production schedule.

• Manage fit meetings and communication of fit comments to China factories, keeping accurate records of changes and requests.

• Communicating all changes to suppliers and the design and management team, actively updating and discussing with the senior management team any concerns that may impact styling, costing or delivery dates.

• Communicating regularly with suppliers and manufacturers to monitor production progress and resolve any issues that may arise.

• Quality control & quality assurance of garments to ensure they meet fitting and quality requirements and measurement specs and fit comments.

• Ensuring product meets the safety standards required for childrenswear.

• Addressing and discussing with senior management any quality/safety control issues immediately, providing solutions.

• Supporting cross-functional teams in sales, marketing, and retail operations by providing product information and training as needed.

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

• possess excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work across hundreds of styles simultaneously
• have strong understanding of garment construction and fabric properties
• have good understanding of the retail industry.
• have good understanding of Australian Standard and safety requirements of childrenswear
• have sound knowledge of current market trends and consumer preferences in childrenswear
• have ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• have effective communication and collaboration abilities
• have minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• possess a positive, professional approach to your work and a can-do attitude.
• proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Excel.
