Our client is a well-known and respected provider of products and services to the residential and commercial markets. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Service Coordinator to join their team in Newcastle. As the Service Coordinator, you will provide planning, administration, customer service and sales support. You will have high attention to detail and the ability to effectively and efficiently plan, organise, prioritise and complete tasks within deadline whilst providing a high standard of customer service to clients.
This position is initially a 9 month contract with the view to move to permanent. Training will be provided to ensure you successfully transition into the role.
The role:
- Respond to customer enquiry via phone an email ensure
- Liaising with, and managing customers both residential and commercial and third party operators (ie. insurers)
- Lodging warranty and support requests with the relevant product suppliers.
- Contacting customers to coordinate and schedule install, repairs and maintenance.
- Processing and scheduling of jobs and technicians
- Completing maintenance and service reports
- Preparation of service quotes for rectification work
- Maintaining records of in-bound service activities
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a fast paced administration and service coordination role
- The ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload
- Highly motivated self starter eager to learn, adapt and help others when needed
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with simPRO highly regarded
- A positive can-do attitude
- Highly organised and focused
- Reliable and committed to work hours
