About the Role
We are expanding our team and now have an opportunity for an experienced and energetic Stakeholder Engagement Officer to join our team in Canberra on a full-time basis.
The Carer Inclusive Workplace Initiative (CIWI) initiative recognises the valuable contributions of carers and looks to achieve a more inclusive, supportive workplace for Australians who provide unpaid care in the community.
The Stakeholder Engagement Officer will collaborate with organisations to promote the establishment of carer-friendly workplaces and assist them in undertaking and successfully completing the CIWI self-assessment.
As the Stakeholder Engagement Officer you will:
- Showcase the benefits of becoming a carer inclusive workplace
- Engage with organisations to encourage registration and successful completion of the CIWI program
- Support CIWI registered organisations in their understanding and completion of the learning modules and successful completion of the self assessment
- Encourage organisations who have successfully completed the program to gain accreditation
- Support the promotion of the program through events, workshops and trade shows
- Report against the project work plan.
Within the context of the role described above, the ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
- Demonstrated sound experience in stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly gain an understanding of, the issues relating to carers within the workforce
- Understand the importance of and management of data through a CRM database (e.g. Salesforce)
You will be rewarded with an attractive salary of $90,000 plus superannuation, plus salary packaging.
