We are seeking an organised and experience Talent Acquisition Officer to join our Human Resources and Operations team. You will work closely with our Business Units Partners, Hiring Managers and Management to support all recruitment activities for the business and ensure our candidates experience smooth transition into the business.
Interaction with our candidates, contractors and stakeholders is a huge part of this role, and so, our ideal applicant will be a confident communicator and extremely organised.
Excelium Consulting is a boutique Cyber & National Security Consulting firm focussed on delivering high quality cyber services for our clients.
Our successful candidate will need a strong work ethic, high attention to detail, be a strong team player, be keen to learn and most of all have a good attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify recruitment needs and conduct job brief with hiring managers.
- Ensure job descriptions are created and updated as required.
- Advertise job on various job boards.
- Conduct phone screen, interviews, as well as coaching and feedback to hiring managers.
- Building and update talent pools and maintain contact with them at regular intervals.
- Assist with preparation of employment contract and onboarding tasks when required.
- Ensure all background checks are conducted according to role.
- Manage all recruitment activities on business systems.
- Actively maintain, update, and navigate our internal systems and databases.
- Have excellent writing skills, you’ll need to write great job ads, candidate summaries and be able to communicate with senior team members.
- Develop and progress people placement response artefacts and submissions.
- Coordinate the full recruitment process - from short-listing through to offering the successful candidate their new job in partnership with BU Partner
- Guide hiring managers and candidates through the recruitment process, including shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding
Key skills and experience:
- A resilient and proactive attitude, particularly when managing high volume workloads.
- Strong communication skills: a commitment to providing exceptional customer service across all channels – written, phone and face to face.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to carry out administrative duties in an efficient and timely manner.
- Strong time management skills: the ability to accomplish objectives effectively within tight time frames.
- The ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.
- The ability to learn and use Microsoft Office and other software as required.
- Patience, understanding and initiative.
MUST be an Australian Citizen and willing to hold an AGSVA Clearance at Baseline / NV1 level
The Role is at a minimum 4 days week from the Excelium office in Barton.
