Join a dedicated team committed to developing a comprehensive Community Infrastructure Plan (CIP) to guide investment in community infrastructure over the next 10+ years. You will be part of a growing and dynamic team focused on meeting the needs of a diverse and expanding population.

Your new role

As the Community Infrastructure Assessment Project Officer, you will lead the scoping, planning, and implementation of data collection and assessment processes for community infrastructure facilities. Your responsibilities will include managing surveys, coordinating the Community Infrastructure Plan Data Working Group, reporting to key committees, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery. You will also play a crucial role in integrating data into planning software and contributing to process improvements.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong data management skills, including familiarity with database systems (e.g., MS Access) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Well-developed project management skills and experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver milestones on time.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A good understanding of long-term organisational goals and community infrastructure planning.
  • Relevant experience in community services and infrastructure planning is desirable.
  • A tertiary qualification in urban planning, social planning, or a related discipline
