We are looking for a Fullstack Team Lead to join our well-established client in Melbourne. As a Team Lead, you will be part of an agile team focused on enhancing and re-engineering one of their most successful and long-standing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set the technical direction of frontend development of the platform.
• Collaborate in a small, cross-functional team on various web services that support the business.
• Adhere to true Agile practices with a strong emphasis on quality, rapid release cycles, and frequent team retrospectives.
• Share your knowledge and learn from a close-knit group of high-performing individuals.

Ideal Candidate:

We seek a candidate who loves to learn and mentor with a strong software design and security background. You should have development experience in React, .Net, and APIs using industry-recognized frameworks and development tools. A solid understanding of programming best practices, focusing on security, scalability, availability, and performance.

Additionally, you should possess significant application development and support experience in an Agile delivery environment. Strong leadership skills and demonstrable knowledge of development patterns and principles are also required.

Requirements:

• Team management experience of 2+ years, including acting as Scrum Master (with sprint reporting), conducting one-on-one sessions, and performing quarterly performance reviews.
• A strong understanding of web application security.
• At least 5 years of experience with ReactJS.
• At least 5 years of experience with C#.Net for middle-tier development.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC using Razor for legacy frontend work.
• At least 3 year of experience with SQL Server backend.
• Experience with Level 3 support.
• Familiarity with key phases of the software delivery lifecycle and established software development methodologies.
• Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

You will apply widely recognized software engineering principles and methodologies to design, develop, and maintain applications and services to meet business and technology goals within budget and timelines. You will also oversee the quality of work to ensure it meets technical standards.
