Principal/Stsaff Full Stack Engineer – HealthTech Start-up (Backend Focused)

Location: Sydney, CBD, Hybrid. 2-3 days In office
Salary: Up to $210K+Super+Shares

As a Principal Full Stack Engineer, you’ll join a dedicated team to provide on services that genuinely saves lives. With consistent revenue growth and new demands, we’re looking for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into a dynamic, multifaceted role where you’ll wear many hats and work across different projects.

The entire team drives change and makes things happen so whilst it’s a fairly flat structure. You’ll be having a huge impact on the direction of the product and how things are done.

• Product Development: Partner with product teams to design and implement backend features that enhance the platform, ensuring a smooth patient experience.
• Data Engineering: Support data-driven decisions by building pipelines for their DBT and data warehouse, empowering internal teams with meaningful insights.

You’d Be a Great Fit If You:

• Have solid experience (at least 10 years) with Kotlin or Java (Spring framework) and thrive in a backend-focused role, while comfortable with cross-functional exposure.
• Are excited by working on 3-4 different projects, switching between priorities as business needs evolve.
• Value open communication, knowledge sharing, and are comfortable collaborating across departments.
• Approach complex challenges with a solutions-first, proactive mindset.
• Have experience in building personal AI projects or commercial experience is even better.
