Contract Project Manager – Fitout & Refurbishment (Newcastle)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of high-profile fitout and refurbishment projects in Newcastle. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with a respected contractor on fast-paced, quality-driven projects, including work in the pubs and clubs sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate subcontractors across multiple trades, maintaining strong oversight of quality and compliance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, manage progress reporting, and resolve any challenges that arise on site.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and consultants, to ensure project expectations are met.
• Drive productivity while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the fitout and refurbishment sector, ideally with exposure to pubs, clubs, or hospitality projects.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Experience managing multiple trades and ensuring quality standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Newcastle and the Central Coast.
• Australian Citizenship or the right to work in Australia.

Location: Newcastle (with travel around the Central Coast)
