ABOUT THE ROLE

As Bid Coordinator in the Corporate Services Division, you will be a generalist business all-rounder with excellent written communication skills. You will be adaptable and open to learning new skills, able to juggle conflicting deadlines, and work well across the team.

While your priority will be Proposal and Tender writing, you will also have the opportunity to manage other key aspects of the Bid function, with your time on average spent as follows:

  • Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Systems Administration (Salesforce and SharePoint)
  • Reporting, Compliance and Governance Assistance
  • Internal projects as required
  • 70% - Bid and Tender Writing
  • 30% - Business Support, including but not limited to:

This role reports to the Manager - Bids and Peak247 and works closely with the Advisor - Bids & Internal Projects. This role is full-time; however, a part-time option (4 days / week or equivalent) could be considered for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate may come from a range of professional backgrounds. You may have prior experience as a Bid Coordinator (or Advisor), Project Manager, Grants Writer, or a background in communications, or projects. While an undergraduate degree is a plus, demonstrated written communication skills, the ability to be independent and manage competing deadlines, and a talent for thinking outside the box to find solutions to problems will be more heavily considered. High attention to detail is a must in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare proposals and respond to tenders using the input obtained from document libraries in a concise, responsive, logical fashion, while ensuring the information provided complies with tender specifications.
  • Consult with project stakeholders and managers throughout the process to collaboratively incorporate specialist insights into bids.
  • Write capability statements, biographies, case studies and other supporting documentation for bids and the promotion of Peak’s numerous services.
  • Analyse data and provide input and assistance into reporting, compliance, and governance documents.
  • Provide project support and manage continuous improvement projects where required.
  • Oversee SharePoint and SalesForce as key business systems, improving functionality as required.
  • Provide Project Management Office (PMO) support for projects, including facilitating project status update meetings and ensuring SalesForce and other systems are kept up to date.
  • Promote Peak’s service excellence culture and implement appropriate continuous improvement strategies and projects.
  • Perform any other duties that are reasonably within the competency, skills and training of the incumbent as directed from time to time by the position’s supervisor.
