We provide support to participants, and their families to achieve positive outcomes in a space that is welcoming, safe, nurturing, and fun! About the Human-rights model

Human Rights Model: Based on basic human rights principles, "it recognises that disability is a natural part of human diversity that must be respected and supported in all its forms. People with disabilities have the same rights as everyone else in society,” and disability “must not be used as an excuse to deny or restrict people's rights.

Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with NDIS and Fair Work standards.
  • Optimize key processes, including rostering, incident management, financial workflows, compliance tracking, and complaint resolution.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance operational systems, tools, and workflows, including CRM improvements.
  • Lead and supervise the operations of day-to-day for the service delivery department.

2. Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute operational strategies in collaboration with the leadership team.
  • Contribute to strategic decisions on growth, system improvements, and policies.
  • Mentor department leads, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

3. Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to NDIS, SCHADS, and Fair Work compliance standards.
  • Support HR and leadership in NDIS audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor KPIs related to operational efficiency, service quality, and participant satisfaction.
  • Lead quality assurance efforts, including audits, training updates, and compliance-driven system improvements.

4. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key liaison with external partners, regulators, and contractors.
  • Establish systems to collect and analyse customer satisfaction data for service improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to promote trust and transparency.
  • Represent Tibii in operational matters, upholding its values and reputation.

5. Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Ensure robust incident reporting and resolution processes.
  • Collaborate with leadership on crisis response and operational disruptions.

6. Budget & Financial Oversight

  • Work with finance to plan and manage operational budgets effectively.
  • Monitor participant funding to ensure sustainability.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
  • Oversee resource allocation to support efficiency and growth.

7. Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Serve as the central contact between departments, fostering alignment and communication.
  • Ensure all teams operate under a human-rights framework and participant-first mindset.
  • Support service managers in meeting goals related to participant satisfaction, compliance, and workforce management.
  • Monitor and shape team culture, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Oversee new initiatives and ensure timely execution across teams.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar leadership role, preferably in the disability or healthcare sector.
  • Deep understanding of NDIS, SCHADS Award, and Fair Work regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Experience working with compliance-driven systems, such as NDIS focused CRM systems.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred but not essential, provided the candidate has equivalent experience and expertise.
  • Demonstrate the ability to maintain a positive mindset and attitude while fostering emotional stability, even in challenging situations. Exhibit an open mindset, continuously seeking opportunities for learning and growth, and serve as a role model for colleagues by embodying the principle that personal and professional development is a lifelong journey.
  • Ability to thrive in a non-hierarchical workplace where systems operate based on mutual respect, human-to-human connection, and a commitment to upholding everyone’s rights.
  • Maintain an acute awareness of their leadership and management style, with the ability to adapt it consciously based on varying circumstances to ensure alignment with organisational needs and goals
