On behalf of my clients who operate in the Australian Defence sector I am currently looking for an experienced Technical Specialist / Configuration Manager with NV1 or above clearance who has worked on GWEO (Guided Weapons Explosive Ordnance) programs.

The role is being offered as a long-term day rate contract and will be based from client's site in Canberra (due to the nature of the work only candidates that are currently based in Canberra or would be willing to relocate themselves to Canberra) can be considered.

DUTIES:

• Perform configuration audits and reporting of the Configuration Management data.
• Develop and maintain Configuration Management processes and procedures.
• Ensure that all information within the Configuration Management system is accurate and up to date.
• Ensure the accessibility of configuration management data is secure and accessible to stakeholders on a needs basis.
• Provide advice and support to stakeholders to ensure any change impacts across configuration items are understood and managed.
• Ensure the information pertaining to Configuration Management is adequately protected and backed up
• Contribute to the identification and managing of technical risks and issues within the support to operations scope.
• Review, verify, and improve documentation produced in support of project development and sustainment.
  

Requirements

• Prior experience working in as a configuration manager or similar role
• Previous experience in GWEO (Guided Weapons Explosive Ordnance)
• NV1 or above clearance
• Advanced Office Computing Application knowledge in Win10, Excel and Word.
• Auditing and Configuration Management credentials will be highly regarded.
