About you and this great opportunity

Our client is seeking a committed and energetic Payroll Specialist to join their team. The position involves participating in ongoing improvement projects and reporting directly to the National Payroll Manager.

What skills and experience will you bring to this role?

As a seasoned payroll expert, you will be passionate about payroll and committed to driving process improvements. Our client currently operates across various systems.

Essential competencies are listed below:

• Able to run end to end payroll - A MUST! High volume of up to 600+ highly regarded.
• Completion of PAYG, Payroll Tax, WorkCover and Superannuation payments
• Maintain leave and leave reports
• Preparation of monthly payroll journals for posting into the General Ledger
• Develop and strive for process improvement to improve efficiencies
• Respond to any employees' queries
• Solid understanding of Australian & NZ payroll legislation
• Experience on any of the Payroll Software: Astute, Fasttrack, Chris21/iChris, 2cloudnine or any others.
• Knowledge of Awards in Healthcare, Labor Hire & Fair work legislation
• Exceptional analytical and technical capabilities
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving
• Fabulous sense of humour & fun attitude - A MUST!!!
