With a recent internal promotion, they are now wanting to backfill and exciting position: Senior Payroll Officer/ Systems Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a Systems Payroll / Payroll Administrator or Senior Payroll Specialist who has a passion for systems to join this collaborative-minded team of 4.

About your role

• Assist team with weekly payroll processing, checking and pay run including reporting and timecard data integrity analysis to ensure compliance with awards, agreements, policies and legislation.
• Process monthly payroll and pay run.
• Payment calculations for backpays, adjustments, leave, WorkCover, terminations, redundancies and reconciliations for long service leave (SA, VIC, NSW).
• Month end requirements for Superannuation, Payroll Tax, deductions and reporting in accordance with required timeframes.
• Train and mentor the payroll team.
• Run integration files between Chris 21 and UKG Pro ensuring accurate data and enabling required systems access for managers.
• Assist employees and managers with timecard and pay related queries and mentor in the use of UKG Pro.
• Assist the Payroll Manager in maintaining efficient payroll systems and processes, including system updates, upgrades and liaising with UKG and Frontier regarding system related functionality.
• Clearing account reconciliations.

About your profile

The successful candidate is an experienced payroll professional who sets high standards at work. You are passionate about payroll and has a knack of working with different systems.

Ideally, you are a proven Senior Payroll Officer who is wanting a solid challenge to utilize your expertise in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
