The Company:

TalentLink are exclusively partnering with a growing manufacturing organisation situated in Darra to recruit a talented and dedicated Payroll professional for their Payroll operations.

About the Opportunity:

This standalone role is pivotal in managing and streamlining the payroll function, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
Reporting to the CFO, you will collaborate closely with business services leaders to oversee end-to-end payroll processes while driving continuous improvements.

Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for:

• Processing weekly payroll end to end, in an accurate and timely manner for approximately 250 staff.
• Compile and interpret employee timesheets, inputting details into the weekly payroll spreadsheet.
• Interpret EBA and awards to ensure correct pay rates and entitlements.
• End of Month processes - Superannuation, Salary Sacrifice, Child Support, Payroll Tax and Month End reporting.
• End of Year Processing and Reconciliations.
• Processing New Starters, Terminations, and Back Pays etc.
• Accurately entering and maintaining employee data.
• Dealing with all payroll queries professionally and accurately.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency, accuracy and compliance.

You will be dedicated payroll professional, with a passion to improve systems and processes. A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and a passion for delivering exceptional customer centric payroll.

The ideal background/skillset required:

• End to end payroll experience in a standalone role.
• Ability to interpret payroll legislation, EBA and various awards.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Previous exposure to system implementation and interest in continual process and systems improvement.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
