MISURA is a small, Australian owned designer furniture business that was established in 2013. We are known for our unique product range that is sourced predominantly from Italy that we carefully curate for the Australian retail and industry clients and sell them through our stores in Sydney and Melbourne.

What the role is
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading a small sales team by inspiring and motivating them to achieve targets and meet the standards required by the showroom; enabling the team to focus on Sales by handling administrative tasks
- Be responsible for the showroom operations that is set by company policy to ensure the showroom is kept to the highest standard for both operations and the display.
- Managing suppliers, vendors, deliveries and inventory.
- Providing impeccable customer service, particularly for more challenging or complex customer needs by providing an excellent experience in the showroom.
- The role reports to the Business Director based in Sydney. While support will be provided when needed, the position requires a high level of autonomy.
What we'd like you to have
- Demonstrated experience in running a showroom or operations for a small retail size business
- Great leadership skills with demonstrated min 3 years of experience
- Excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills
- Good computer skills and ability to learn new system fast
- A great attitude, willingness to learn and team player
- Problem solver
- Excellent customer service skills
A little bit about you
You thrive in a dynamic environment and love to be organised. While sales are a part of the role, the main focus is on maintaining the showroom to the highest standards and leading the team to success.
While you may not have direct furniture or showroom management experience, you bring a solid understanding of budgeting, inventory management, and the ins and outs of running a small business, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
The business is run by our own developed software, so we are looking for someone who will be keen and confident to learn and pick up new systems and software. Full training will be provided.
