About the role

We are seeking a highly capable and motivated HR Generalist to join our team at SEW-Eurodrive in Tullamarine, Victoria. As a HR Generalist, you will play an important role in supporting our business objectives by providing end-to-end HR services to our organisation. This is a full-time position based on-site in Tullamarine.

What you'll be doing

• Working with business managers and team leaders to understand their people-related needs and deliver tailored HR solutions
• Administering all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and offboarding
• Ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations and internal policies
• Providing guidance and advice to managers and employees on a range of HR-related matters
• Contributing to the development and implementation of strategic HR projects
• Assisting with employee relations issues and helping to resolve any workplace conflicts
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records and reporting

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
• Proficient in HR information systems and data analysis
• A collaborative team player with a customer-focused approach
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
