The Role

As an APS6 HR Generalist, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including workforce planning and onboarding
• Providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Supporting employee relations and performance management initiatives
• Coordinating learning and development programs to build workforce capability
• Overseeing work health and safety (WHS) compliance and promoting a culture of wellbeing
• Contributing to HR projects and initiatives that drive organisational improvement

The Ideal Person

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contemporary HR practices and WHS frameworks, with a proven ability to address complex HR issues with sensitivity and discretion.

You will bring proactive problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality HR services.

Experience in the APS or similar government environments will be advantageous.
