Your Exciting New Opportunity
As our HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with various divisions to execute and support their business plans, particularly in workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, coaching and development.
Located at Port Melbourne and reporting to the GM of Victoria/Tasmania, you will work closely with other GMs and Branch Managers as key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities in the next 12 months:
- Negotiate a new EBA for our Victorian and WA teams.
- Lead the recruitment and induction processes for key management roles.
- Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders to understand business drivers and regularly visit branches.
- Identify succession planning needs and competency gaps; create and oversee individual and team development plans.
- Initiate training programs for both blue and white-collar workers, including coaching strategies and an Emerging Leaders Program.
- Collaborate with our Marketing team to implement various Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and branding initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
- Education & Experience: Degree qualified in HR with at least 10 years of HR generalist experience, strong in recruitment, onboarding, training, talent management and compliance.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in a blue-collar/trades environment, successfully generating trust with all management levels.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work autonomously and align HR activities with overall business goals.
