About Us:

Bay Hand Therapy is a stand-alone clinic located in Beaumaris, specialising in hand therapy and rehabilitation. As part of the Healthia network, we work closely with Re-Wired Hand Therapy & Nerve Recovery, delivering outstanding care to our patients. Our team includes experienced Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and support staff dedicated to making a positive impact on our patients’ lives.

The Role:

As a Receptionist at Bay Hand Therapy, you will be the face of the clinic, ensuring every patient receives a warm and welcoming experience. This role involves working alongside a small, friendly team, including at least one OT or Physio and up to two therapists at any given time.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Answering phone calls, taking messages, and responding to emails with professionalism and courtesy.
• Greeting patients, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive first impression and experience.
• Managing administrative tasks such as reconciling payments and liaising with third parties as needed.
• Collaborating with the Practice Manager, Senior Receptionist, and Accounts Administrator to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Providing support for Re-Wired Hand therapy within the network when needed.

Key Details:

• Location: Beaumaris, Victoria
• Days Required: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (with the potential for a 4th day on Fridays in the near future)
• Team Environment: Work closely with a friendly and supportive team in a busy, collaborative clinic setting.
• Training & Support: Ongoing support from the Practice Manager, Senior Receptionist, and Accounts Administrator to help you succeed in your role.

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, and has a keen eye for detail. You’ll have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service ethos, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Previous experience in a reception or administration role, particularly in a healthcare setting, would be advantageous but is not essential.
