MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

KNOX GENERAL PRACTICE & FAMILY MEDICINE

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to work 4 days per week.

About the business:

Knox General Practice & Family Medicine is the core of Knox Health, a brand new premium medical hub with onsite Pathology, Radiology & Pharmacy.

Located at 538 Mountain Hwy (cnr Stud Rd) in Bayswater, it is an extemely visible landmark in the area. Also an easy commute, being located less than 5 minutes away from an Eastlink exit.

About the role:

We are seeking a caring and skilled Medical Receptionist. The purpose of this role will be to provide reception support, as well as work closely with the Practice Manager.

About you:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• High level of organisational skills
• A professional, caring, positive and freindly attitude
• Prior medical receptionist experience of at least 1 year
• Prior experience using Best Practice medical software of at least 1 year

Main duties and responsibilities

• Greeting patients into the clinic
• Processing patient accounts
• Answering phones
• Providing administration support to doctors, nurse and practice mamager
• Providing administration support to patients
• Scheduling patient appointments
• General administration duties
• Assissting the practice manager with reception management, polciies and procedures.
