We’re seeking a talented and motivated Fashion Design Assistant to collaborate closely with our Creative Director and CEO in building an exciting new contemporary fashion brand. This is a unique opportunity to join at the brand’s inception and play a key role in shaping its product identity.

About the Role

This is an entry-level role with a minimum of two years of industry experience. We’re looking for someone with a strong design portfolio, a keen eye for detail, and an understanding of fashion trends, graphic design, and campaign execution. You’ll be working closely with the team to develop seasonal collections, refine the brand aesthetic, and bring creative concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

Fashion Design & Development:

• Collaborate with the Creative Director to design seasonal collections, including detailed sketches, CADs, and industry-standard tech packs.
• Oversee fabric selection, trims sourcing, and material approvals to ensure the highest quality and consistency with the brand’s aesthetic.
• Attend fittings, analyse garment construction, and provide critical feedback to perfect designs for production.

Graphic Design & Brand Development:

• Create exceptional graphics for print placements, embroideries, packaging, and marketing collateral.
• Contribute to defining and executing a cohesive brand identity that sets our brand apart in the market.
• Ability to develop premium digital assets for use across social media, email campaigns, and website updates.

Campaign Execution & Content Creation:

• Assist in planning and co-ordinating high-concept photoshoots for campaigns, lookbooks, and e-commerce.
• Provide hands-on support on set, including styling, garment preparation, and creative direction.
• Edit campaign imagery and produce polished, high-quality video content for social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

Marketing & Digital Engagement:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute high-impact influencer campaigns and product launches.
• Develop compelling, on-brand social media content and contribute to website updates that drive engagement and sales.
• Innovate and bring fresh, creative ideas to amplify the brand’s presence and market reach.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in the fashion industry, with knowledge of garment construction, CADs, and the end-to-end design process.
• Design Excellence: A strong design portfolio showcasing your aesthetic vision, technical skills, and ability to execute across fashion and graphic design.
• Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign is essential).
• Creativity & Precision: A meticulous eye for detail combined with the ability to think outside the box.
• Professionalism: Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
