About Us

SweetAcacia is a leading fashion manufacturer, creating trend-driven, fast-to-market women's wear for some of the biggest names in Australia and beyond. With our headquarters in Sydney and production teams in China, we design and manufacture collections that define what’s next in fashion.

Your Role

As our Fashion Designer, you'll be at the heart of our design process—turning trends into must-have pieces. You will:

• Sketch, CAD & Create at least five daily designs, moving approved ones into CADs.
• Design & Develop fresh new (original) styles while also updating our best-selling silhouettes.
• Source Fabrics & Trims in collaboration with our China-based team.
• Develop tech packs, including garment measurements, construction detail and fabric/ trim specifications, and closely monitor material cost to ensure targets are met
• Work Closely with Sampling & Production to ensure your vision comes to life by providing fit comments to ensure design viability and product quality.
• Stay Ahead of Trends with market research, shopping trips, and deep dives into emerging styles, fabrics, and techniques.
• Collaborate Across Teams to ensure our designs resonate with our customers and retail partners.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re not just creative—you’re driven, adaptable, and eager to see your designs come to life. You also:

• Have a degree/diploma in Fashion Design (or a related field).
• Understand the fast-paced world of women’s fashion and what young customers want.
• Have skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design programs.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word)
• Can work independently and collaborate seamlessly with production teams.
• Are comfortable producing at least five high-quality sketches per day and translating them into CADs.
