We are seeking an experienced UC Support Technician to join our client’s CBD Sydney based team.
The Role
This role offers hands-on experience in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Unified Communications (UC) systems, including Cloud solutions like 3CX, Vodia and Teams as well as basic knowledge with legacy platforms (NEC and Avaya).
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1-2 support for Unified Communications like 3CX, Vodia and MS Teams systems or similar systems, including troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving UC environments
- Act as the escalation point for internal and external technical issues related to 3CX, Vodia and MS Teams
- Assist in deploying new hosted and UC solutions for customers, ensuring systems meet company and industry standards
- Monitor and maintain compliance and security across all UC systems, ensuring regular updates, patches, and backups
- Work closely with the IT Service Desk team, providing training, documentation and assisting other team members
- Attend on-site visits as required to Install, relocate, train end users, and program telephone systems and peripherals
- Maintain strong customer satisfaction (CSAT) and ticket resolution metrics by ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery
Skills/Experience/Qualifications Required
- Telecom / MSP experience is preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- UC & Network training and certification are a great advantage
- Knowledge with legacy telephony systems such as NEC and Avaya, with the ability to provide support when needed
- Ability to identify opportunities to upgrade customers' current legacy systems to cloud solutions
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Competencies in leadership, presenting, prospecting, and qualifying opportunities, as well as engaging in both high- and low-level conversations with key stakeholders
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and self-motivation
