About the role

Join the growing team at Dr Boom Communications as a Mobile Phone Technician & Retail Sales Assistant. This full-time role based in Waurn Ponds, VIC will see you providing expert technical support and customer service to our valued clients. As a key member of our Telecommunications team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a seamless experience with their mobile devices.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnosing and repairing a variety of mobile phone models, including smartphones and tablets
• Providing exceptional customer service, guiding clients through technical issues and finding the best solutions for their needs
• Processing new device sales, upgrades, and payments, ensuring a smooth transaction for the customer
• Maintaining a neat and organised retail space to create a welcoming environment for customers
• Staying up-to-date with the latest mobile technology, products and industry trends

What we're looking for

• Strong technical skills and experience in mobile phone repair, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of device issues
• Excellent customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and easy-to-understand manner
• Sales experience in a retail or customer-facing environment, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Passion for technology and a keen interest in the latest mobile devices and industry developments
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously
