The Family
They are a local success story who fly under the radar with a broad range of business interests, largely in property both national and international. With new and stunning corporate offices in South Yarra they are looking for their next long-term Assistant who is highly experienced in all facets of providing personal assistance and office management support to both the Founder and the Finance Director.
The Role
Working closely with the Founder, Finance Director and all family members, you will build genuine and credible relationships with all employees who are located nationally. As the first point of contact to organise meetings for the Founder you will coordinate diary and travel plans with the external agent, greet visitors to site, and assist with all projects as directed. This position also works closely with the Finance Director with similar tasks as well as regular document control. Ensuring full office management including supplier relationships, housekeeping for office entertainment and meetings whilst ensuring matters arising from family sites are managed accordingly.
There is also a wonderful opportunity to get more involved in aspects of family commitments such as philanthropy and events. How broad this role gets is up to you! Salary circa $120k plus pro rata 4 days.
The Fit
This is a wonderful opportunity and suits a professional EA/PA who appreciates the particular needs of supporting family office through having done this role or as part of a broader EA role where these duties are preferred.
You are educated and experienced with the flexibility and time to commit as needed with occasional requirements to be on call on weekends or evenings if the Founder is abroad.
Outstanding written and verbal communication, strong systems capability, high level planning and organisational skills, the ability to manage various responsibilities with a can-do approach and your ability to problem solve and make decisions on behalf of management as required.
