Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The successful candidate will assist the Head Chef in preparing high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant’s standards for excellence. This position requires a minimum of two years’ proven experience in a commercial kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to ensure food preparation meets quality and presentation standards.
• Cook and prepare a variety of dishes, maintaining consistent quality across all menu items.
• Follow established recipes and plating guidelines, while adhering to strict food safety regulations.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels, highlighting potential shortages and assisting in inventory management.
• Keep a clean and organized workstation, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
• Assist in menu development by providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Cook in a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant environment.
• Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking methods, and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
• A passion for culinary excellence and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
