The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced full time Senior A/P Officer for our head office based in Brighton Le sands for our family-owned supermarkets business. Due to our continued success and growth, we are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable officer to join our Finance Team and report to the Financial Accountant.

Duties:

• Entry of accounts payable invoices
• Reconciliation of invoices/statements
• Rebate Management
• Payment run (EFT/Cheque)
• Attending to internal/external account enquiries
• Involvement in the end of month processes.
• Payment & Analysis of Non-Stock expenses (i.e. Electricity, Rent, Waste Management, Car Registrations)

Essential Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable in supermarkets or retail environment.
• Desire to learn new task on ERP software. Prior experience in Sage x3 or ERP system is preferred but not essential.
• Commercial background
• Must have excellent English communication skills to communicate with different stakeholders in the business.
• Excellent oral and written presentation skills
• Excellent computer literacy (Word, Excel)
• Strong eye for detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Able to take on challenging duties as well as routine tasks
