  • Banding 6 $88,468.76 TO $96,027.66pa (pro-rata ) + 11.5% Superannuation
  • Part-Time /Fixed Term Position, 72 hours per fortnight to 9 January 2026

The Role

An exciting opportunity to join the People and Culture team in the role of Organisational Development Business Partner.

Reporting to the Organisational Change and Capability Lead, the role works across the organisation as a trusted business partner, supporting the design and implementation of whole-of-organisation frameworks, programs and projects that support the key focus areas of Council's People Strategy. This position plays a vital role in shaping Council's culture, driving employee engagement, and developing leadership and capabilities.

As the successful candidate, you will work closely with the Organisational Development team on key projects such as:

  • Organisational Development - support, design and project manage key deliverables and projects from the People Strategy, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive and deliver OD outcomes
  • Employee Engagement - facilitate annual employee engagement surveys and drive cultural change action plans and initiatives.
  • Learning and Development - evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programs, conduct training needs analysis and contribute to the design of the annual learning and development calendar
  • Performance Planning - coordinate the annual performance review framework
  • Reward & Recognition - innovate strategies to reward and recognise our people, including the delivering of Council's annual Reward and Recognition ceremony
  • Service Planning, Business Planning and Corporate Reporting - oversee the delivery of Council's Service Planning road-map, and annual Business Planning process, as well as regular reporting of actions from the Council Plans.

About You

To be successful in this role we would love someone who has:

  • Previous experience in a Learning & Development or Organisational Development role.
  • Experience in developing and delivering OD projects and implementing improvement initiatives.
  • A passion for building and sustaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of engagement, performance, talent, leadership and people capability frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and facilitation of engagement and education workshops.
