The People, Leadership and Teams (PLT) division provides several strategic and operational services to the organisation. PLT focusses on the talented and committed people (paid staff and volunteers) who are the driving force behind our success in preventing cancer, empowering people and saving lives
About your opportunity
We are seeking a People Partner to join the People, Leadership and Teams Division. Reporting to the Head of People and Organisational Development, your role is to:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide a consistent, high-quality employee experience by accurately capturing and addressing HR inquiries.
- Collaborate with the Head of People and OD to offer coaching and advisory support on HR matters.

To be successful in this role, you will have generalist HR experience and enjoy working in a fast moving, fluid environment, supporting day to day operational needs as well as supporting and delivering impactful projects that build our people experience and capability.
We are looking for someone with:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR or equivalent experience
- Significant experience working in Human Resources with the ability to provide consistent high quality HR guidance and solutions.
- Resilient and able to use sound judgement when presented with conflicting viewpoints.
- The ability to build strong relationships and credibility with stakeholders.
- To have a continuous improvement and growth mindset.
- Working collaboratively is your “trademark” in a cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Base salary of $86,154 to $95,158 p.a. (dependant on experience, pro rata for part time) plus 11.5% superannuation
